Salsa Gente has two new offerings for the summer season.
Beginning July 6 : Salsa Cubana Intermediate on Fridays! A weekly drop in class for intermediate salsa dancers.
Every Friday, beginning July 6, Chris and Jessica will have you moving to Cuban style of Salsa. This is not a Rueda class!
Your chance to learn the Cuban style with intermediate moves to take to the dance floor. Fridays, starting July 6, from 7-8:30 pm at Louden Nelson Center, downtown Santa Cruz.
Warm-up body movement and open work (simple choreography to dance by yourself) 7 - 7:15
Cuban-style salsa partnering 7:15 – 8:00
Fun group moves to dance 8:00 - 8:30

Salsa Crash Course for Beginners begins Wednesday, July 11! Register now as spots fill up quickly.
SalsaGente and the City of Santa Cruz Parks&Rec brings back this popular series class on Wednesday, July 11.
This is a five-week crash course for everyone who wants to learn to dance regular Salsa with some Cuban flavor. In other words, this is a regular Salsa class using Cuban-style techniques. The goal is for you to shine on the dance floor! NO PARTNER REQUIRED.
This series class builds from week to week, so attendance to all sessions is REQUIRED.
Get a good workout as Chris and Jessica keep you moving!
Offered through City of Santa Cruz Parks and Recreation. July 11 - Aug 18. 7 - 8 pm. $43 for Santa Cruz Residents, $53 otherwise.
